5 out of 5 stars Simply Fantastic   April 24, 2008

My friend played me Room For Squares one day and after that I was truelly smitten with this artist!! br /I cannot get enough of his bluesy notes and can honestly say there is not a single track on any of his albums that I do not like. His style suits all moods and his lyrics draws you in to your imagination and allows you to shut out the world and dream!! Brilliant as always. if you have'nt already heard this man play then do yourself a favour, buy this album and while you're at it, buy the rest of them too!!

His best album to date (I've ordered the new live album - if it's anything like this his perforamnce at Hyde Park it'll be incredible). Every song is superb - although "Slow Dancing in a Burning Room" has to be the best song in the past year ( is also on the new live DVD/CD!). His music is hypnotic, classy, equisitely crafted. Enough! Buy!

This is one of my favourite albums and I would say it is John's best so far. Every single song is just fantastic. If you like live music I would also recommend John's 'Where the Light Is', which is also incredible. BUY IT!

If you own any John Mayer album, it is likely to be his first one, "Room for Squares", which was a fine pop album in its day. Mr Mayer wants to be taken more seriously nowadays though and "Continuum" certainly fits the bill. He has used top UK and US session players both here and on the live DVD to produce a slick and adult sound. This album is about as smooth as you can get with tasteful writing and playing. It is a real "grower", getting better the more you listen to it. br / br /Best track? Probably "Dreaming with a broken heart". Great Album.

Was recommended this album by a friend. One of the best albums I've ever bought. Love it so much. Reminds me of my holiday to Oz where I first heard him. John Mayer has such talent I'm surprised I hadn't heard of him before. 'Vultures' was the first track I heard, then 'Slow dancing in a burning room' and I was hooked. Great music for driving to, looking through old photo albums to or just chilling out. Went on to buy his previous album 'Room for squares' and took a little longer to like that album but it's growing on me. Can't say enough good things about Continuum, it's great.
