Band of 2008 January 21, 2008 C. Lockwood (North Yorkshire, England) On the evidence of this song and 'You and Me' they are set to be one of the top bands in 2008. Deffinately worth owning
Great new band. February 1, 2008 S. Turnbull (London) This song will become a classic.
br /The melody is catchy and has a hook from hell!!
br /They are all apparently with an average age of 17 which meakes me at 40 ancient but their music will span a huge age range. They write beautiful, catchy rock/pop tunes and I can hear a whole range of influences in their music from The Killers to U2.The chorus is one of those that hooks into the memory and you find yourself singing it in the shower.
br /I have just pre-ordered the album and look forward to more tunes than the two I have already heard~it makes me excited for contemporary music and maybe there's hope for it yet.
br /Good luck lads~although I don't think you will need it.
br /I just have to figure out how to bottle the courage to go see them live.....
A soaring anthem for 2008 February 6, 2008 Mr. D. S. Hughes (York, UK) I have been familiar with this song for a long time now (first heard the demo version a couple of years ago) and have never tired of it! This Lillywhite-Produced version is great, and is going to become a big track this year, there is no doubt! Who would 've thought a song about a power station could have been so good!
This band shows real potential March 2, 2008 L. Green (London, UK) Barcode: 0602517534711

br /Amongst all the samey-sounding new indie bands around at the moment, One Night Only truly stand out from the crowd. Sounding part like label-mates the Killers and part something straight out of the late 80s, early 90s, Just For Tonight is a perfect slice of Brit-Pop. Little keyboard flourishes and good vocals really mark this track out as one of the highlights of 2008 so far and show fantastic potential for this band in the future. It's a dead catchy song and holds massive appeal and all in all it's well worth getting hold of.

Beautiful song from a band to watch out for in 2008. January 2, 2008 S. Allman (England, My House.) 1 out of 1 found this review helpful
A previous Jo Whiley 'record of the week' in late December 2007 - this song caught me off guard while listening to Radio One one morning. Meaningful and memorable, with a unique vocal - I am a convert. One Night Only are an amazing band - support them - buy this and buy the album out in February.
