5 out of 5 stars Amazing!!!   June 16, 2008

This album is fantastic!!! I just recenly got really into his music after hearing the first single from the album Leavin and finding out that he actually wrote bleeding love. I have got as much musice from his previous albums that i could find and have found that there is actually some really great tracks. I had previously heard a few of his tracks such as beautiful soul but never heard most of the songs from his previous 2 albums till now.I have listened to all the songs on departure and love it!! Relapse is one of my favourites just now

4 out of 5 stars Departure? No Way! The ARRIVAL of Jesse McCartney. Definitely One To Watch   June 15, 2008

I've never really been a fan of Jesse McCartney's previous music, but he's obviously come on in leaps and bounds since back then. Welcome to the all new Jesse McCartney, a well respected songwriter, and music artist. Apart from his latest album (of which he wrote several of the songs), he also writes for other artists such as the hit 'Bleeding Love' which he wrote for Leona Lewis. br / br /The style of music he has adopted (from artists such as Justin Timberlake) suits his voice extremely well, and each track on his album is very original and one of those you want to listen to over and over again (which can only be a good thing!). He worked with top producers over the last year to produce a great urban pop album that will appeal not only to kids teenagers, but also to an older audience who enjoy Justin Timberlake, Chris Brown or Timberland's style of music. br / br /Highly Recommended.

4 out of 5 stars surprisingly good   February 3, 2009

I bought it for my daughter and honestly didn't expect much from him thinking Jesse overrated teenage star. But both - music and lyrics - are surprisingly enough much higher level than I'd expected.
