Breathtaking... October 28, 2008 Graham Timms (London) 231 out of 231 found this review helpful
When Time Magazine said 'they sing like angels' it was far from an exaggeration. With the seemingly endless supply of operatic voices singing lacklustre versions of `Pie Jesu' these days, the three Priests from Northern Ireland are totally a refreshing revelation. What sets them apart from the rest is their connection to this collection of songs that draws you into their world, leaving you believing every word that they sing. There's most epic and heartfelt version in `Ave Maria'; their 'Irish Blessing' is perfection and the lesser know 'Ecce Sacerdos' is totally captivating. It's not brash or preachy: it's just brilliant music.
Brilliance November 25, 2008 E. Collins (Belfast) 64 out of 64 found this review helpful
In these dark days of Winter the songs sung by The Priests are like shining stars. Definitely a captivating collection. After a stressful day's work, I just come home, put on the CD and get transported into a classical and traditional world of relaxation and peace. The priests sing with sincerity and emotion, evoking a time when people had time just to stop, listen and admire authentic singing voices. If you appreciate true musical talent and are searching for peace, this is the CD for you.

Listening to this album has been a spritual experience for me. Ave Maria and Pie Jesu are my favourites, but you don't want to skip any of the songs on the album. All songs are beautifully recorded and absolutely captivating. I will listen to this album for a very long time.
FANTASTIC November 28, 2008 Liz D 19 out of 19 found this review helpful
This is truely beautiful music which calms and relaxes removing the stress of everyday life. I love the spanish carol in the middle as it adds an uplift before taking you back to that place of inner calm. I just wish there were more CD's like this one.
flawless Fathers! November 24, 2008 Dom Nostos (Ireland) 46 out of 48 found this review helpful
Perhaps I am biased, but I know these guys. They are "working parish priests" - running parishes alongside my own "clerical" cousins. I have heard them sing at many liturgies (religious services) and they are the real deal! Flawless.
