If you're wondering why they are getting 5 stars rating even before the album is released, well, just visit their website and watch their videos of Hallelujah, Amazing Grace, The Power of Love, and Adagio (they can be watched on Youtube as well). Absolutely stunning and touching, their emotions showing in all the songs. Il Divo is back with a bang!

As Sebastien said in an interview about the new CD The Promise, 'this is the best of the best', and having listened to the new CD a number of times, I have to agree!! There is more range to their performances of the songs, and the type of song is more diverse. There seems to have been a subtle shift in the dynamics within the group, and to me anyway, they appear to have gelled more as a group. I haven't heard a song they have performed that I didn't like, and their rendition of the songs on this new CD certainly does not disappoint. I didn't think they could improve on their previous releases, but this CD was well worth the wait.

Well the "Promise " has been fulfilled! Moved to tears on 3 tracks in particular, La Promessa, L'Alba del Mondo (WOW!) and Enamerado. Just read some reviews on the standard CD and I can't beleive what I'm reading! How can anyone say this album is a disappointment? My only fear was that I hated the original Frankie Goes to Hollywood but the guys managed to convince me! I also read someone say that the guys had done no "upbeat" numbers...? Well forgive me - but I love the romance and the sheer joy of hearing these guys voices and talent and don't need anything else but just to listen to everyday music in a TOTALLY different light! Can't WAIT for the tour!

Make sure gou've got a respectable pair of loudspeakers, a strong and clear amplifier, dim the lights, have a drink and prepair for a really great audio experience ! br /Absolutly devine ! br /Great songs ! br /

I'll admit it... I'm a devoted IL DIVO fan and so I will buy anything ID related. But in all seriousness this album has got to be their best yet and is definitely one you have to own! With songs from Abba and Frankie Goes to Hollywood and then covers of Adagio and Hallelujah, I don't see how people can't find atleast one song that they like on this album. I love the fact that they still have solo parts, and the lines they have chosen just fit perfectly with their voices. I'm already hard pushed to choose a favourite song... I've been counting down the days for this album release, now I'm counting down the days until their tour in February, when I can hear them sing live... believe me, it's a breath taking experience!
