What everyone wanted June 8, 2009 Andy Taylor 4 out of 4 found this review helpful
More than a few people were disappointed by OceanLab's album last year, largely due to quite understandable expectations of an all out club trance album that weren't met by largely laid back and chilled tracks. Personally I didn't have a problem with that, I'd always expected an album full of "album versions" that would then get the "Above Beyond club mix" treatment on the single releases.
br /
br /In any case, this new Remixed album is exactly what those disappointed by the original release have been waiting for - 2 disks of remixes by Above Beyond along with a number of other Anjunabeats artists. There isn't a single dud mix on either disk, and the variety of remixers gives a good range of the styles and sounds prevalent in trance at the moment, from laid back progressive to full-on euphoric this album has all the bases covered.
br /
br /As if that weren't enough a few of OceanLabs pre-SOTS tracks have been thrown in at the end of disk 2, so even those people who were disappointed by a lack of "Satellite" or "Sky Falls Down" will be happy!
Oceanlab Remixed June 13, 2009 A. Campbell (glasgow, uk) 2 out of 2 found this review helpful
A beautiful production of adapted / remixed tracks from the original oceanlab sirens of the sea album. A 2 disc extravagnaza of what above and beyond / ajunabeats do best - euphoric, uplifting, melodic trance of various styles. From the more chilled to the complete roof raising club mixes you would expect to find from these guys. The ecclectic mix of remixers on the album range from jaytech and the micheal cassette boys who offer more chilled interpretations of oceanlab tracks to the complete spine tingling euphoric trance remixes from lange and gareth emery on tracks "I am what I am" and "Lonely Girl" respectively. Above and beyond have also offered the club versions of many of Oceanlab's sirens of the sea album tracks. This really is a trance at its best... another fantastic production from anjunabeats and the above and beyond boys. This has fast became my favourite album and is very rarely switched off in my house, my car and my parties. As an added bonus on cd2 you will find the original oceanlab tracks "satellite, sky falls down and clear blue water" which were not on the original album release. Excellent - 5 stars and many banging living rooms / dance floors round the country will stand as testemant to the success of this album, above and beyond and the anjunabeats label.
If you like Anjundeep... June 13, 2009 Mr. P. A. D. Lockwood 0 out of 1 found this review helpful
First CD of this is very deep. If you have heard Anjunadeep then you will love it but as the previous reviewer states, it is very different from the first album. Still contains amazing remix's by Lange and Gareth Emery.

An album that's perfect for Above and Beyond fans July 9, 2009 Edd Burdett (dorset, england) If like their podcast (TATW) and you happen to also like the more progressive style of the original version of this album then this album is well worth the buy. Not only does it have amazing remixes from of the tracks from the previous album, it also contains the best mixes of the Oceanlab's singles that weren't already in the previous album.
A MASTER PIECE July 23, 2009 Simon Wood (england) A fantastic album put together from the original which is aslo very good, with remixes from some of the finest artist such as Armin van buuren, Above and Beyond, lange, jaytech, the list goes on, a wonderful journey of euphoric dance this album is a must have, i cant stop playing it, if you love tiesto, you will love this, brilliant.
