5 out of 5 stars Get out there and grab yourself a copy   June 5, 2009

Tasmina Perry writes Chick Lit books and has so far written three other Novels. She has produced:- br / br /Daddy's Girls 2006 br /Gold Digger's 2007 br /Guilty Pleasures 2008 br / br /In her fourth book we delve into the present and past of the Asgill family. They own an International cosmetics company and Meredith Asgill the mother is determined to keep her children's profiles as squeaky clean as possible. She meets Tess and Jemma who are publicists based in London who are ready to run a sensational story on the Asgill's. Instead of running the story Meredith offers Tess the opportunity of a lifetime which is how Tess ends up working alongside this wealthy and powerful family. Life changes dramatically as Tess becomes embroiled into the Asgill's lives. br / br /Brooke Asgill is due to marry David Billington, an equally powerful and rich man. Liz Asgill is the elder sister who is fighting her corner for control of the family company. She believes that she has what it takes to make the brand successful once again with her at the helm. Her brother William is also fighting for control but mostly on behalf of his power crazy, social climbing wife. Lastly there is Sean Asgill who is the Playboy of the family. He never takes anything seriously and is mostly featured on the front of magazines with various women draped on his arm. When they all meet Tess everybody's lives change dramatically. Who will take over the company, will Brooke marry David, and will any of their past secrets be kept at bay by Tess, or come out and potentially destroy the family's reputation? br / br /This story is full of twists and turns and I thoroughly enjoyed every chapter. Having read previous Tasmina Perry books I awaited this one with baited breath wondering and hoping that it would be as good as the last one, if not better. I had no need to worry. Tasmina Perry has produced what I think is her best novel so far. The story is compelling and full of drama, glamour, secret's and lies. What more could we ask for? I await her next book with very high expectations! br / br /

5 out of 5 stars Brilliant   June 14, 2009
Toni Harness (Coventry, England)
Having previously read all of Tasmina Perry's books (which were all brilliant) I was unsure about this one, however it was as still a brilliant read. I would say it may not have been as good as the rest but was still really good. I did not regret buying it and will continously re-read it, as everyone does with books that are good enough. br /The characters were brilliantly read, but I don't think there were any that I felt for as much as with previous characters. The sex scenes were as brilliant as they could be.

5 out of 5 stars An addicitive, sexy novel   June 19, 2009
KMS (Warrington, England)
Having read all of Tasmina Perry's books, I was very excited about this novel and started reading it as soon as it arrived through my letterbox. Tasmina Perry has once again succeeded in bringing us a superb book that really draws you in and makes you feel part of the story. br / br /The book is mainly focused around three women, Tess, Brooke and Liz. Tess is an English girl who, after working for a newspaper for several years, has a job offer to become the publicist for the Asgill family - a family company and a major player in the cosmetics industry. Tess is to be hired on the condition that she will protect the Asgill family from any scandalous news stories and secrets and to make sure that nothing ruins the wedding of Brooke and her fiancé. Brooke and Liz are two sisters who were fortunate enough to be born into the Asgill family, but that doesn't come without it's downfalls. Brooke is about to marry into one of the most influential families in America, but is she really 'wife' material? And Liz wants to take over the Asgill family company and be as ruthless as possible in the process. With secrets, lies and affairs all thrown in, this truly was a brilliant book! br / br /What this book does is really draw you in and you really get to know the characters. That's one thing I love about Tasmina Perry's books, I always have the perfect image of what her characters look like, and I always feel like I know enough about them. br / br /Unfortunately, I don't think this book was as good as her first few, but that doesn't stop me from rating it 5 stars as this one really kept me on edge and I just loved the twists, turns and scandals that get revealed. br / br /I cannot wait for Tasmina Perry to write another book! She really is Queen of Chick-lit!

Really enjoyed this book, read it within 4 days on holiday. Must admit that it was not as good as Daddys Girls but still worth the read.
