5 out of 5 stars excellent read   December 6, 2006

Absolutely brilliant read. Kerry writes an heartwarming autobiography of how she has overcome several obstacles in her chaotic life to reach some kind of peace and happiness with her new partner and is expecting a baby with in February. br / br /Her tales of her time spent with her mother are sad, depressing but Kerry is always fiercely loyal at the same time it is clear she loves her Mum but has recently realised her mum is not to be trusted or relied upon. br / br /Kerry then talks candidly about her life with Bryan out of Westlife and how she fought hard to save the mariage despite the fact that Bryan didn't want to know as he had already fallen in love with Delta Goodrem. br / br /Her love for her children is clear throughout the book, she comes across as a good mother and this shines through in her book although recent tales in the press seem to cast doubt on this. br / br /I hope she finds a more peaceful relaxed way of life in her new home in the New Year.

In the UK the name Kerry Katona is synonymous with one word, no not fishfingers, I'm talking about class and this little lady has it by the bucketload. Like many other cynics out there I assumed she was a vapid individual now destitute from a third rate pop band and destined to a life selling her soul for mediocre kitchen products but how wrong I was. In the pages of this book I found inspiration and courage the like of which you have never seen before. Yes I can hear you now shouting out the names , Mother Teresa, Florence Nightingale, Joan of Arc all pale in comparison to this wonderful creature and her triumphant struggle against the harshness of being a single parent and celebrity. You will never truly know pain until you have read about how she was forced to consume large amounts of alcohol and drugs and then parade her drunken antics in front of the every baying paparazzi, shame on you all. The worst part is how she was treated by men and I for one am completely ashamed of my sex, she was forced to sleep with all manner of tradesmen, cab drivers and worst of all a member of Westlife, the sheer horror of which wakes me in the night. They all treated her like a steak and kidney pie, devoured her and left the shiny case behind but now she has the last laugh as I'm sure this book will sell a million....haha.

Wow, this book is amazing. I never knew Kerry Katona had been through so much. This book is an open honest and frank account of her life. She talks about her relationship with her mother, her horrific upbringing, her time in the jungle on "Im a celebrity get me out of here", her rehab sessions, drug abuse, and the break-down of her relationship with Westlife member, Bryan McFadden. I just couldn't put this book down. Kerry sounds like a wonderful, caring, down-to-earth celebrity, who took on "Too Much, Too Young!"

5 out of 5 stars Fantastic and a must read   October 19, 2006

I have just about finished reading Kerry Katona's book and I think it is brilliant. Although a lot of it does involve her mum she has been brought up by her and lived most of her life with her so it's only a natural thing. Unlike some of the biographies that I read I find this one to be a believable account of what has happened through her life. I have felt really sad reading some of this book and looking at what she has been through in such a short life is amazing. She admits she has made mistakes in her life and you cant fault her honesty. I couldn't put this book down and wanted it to go on and on. I really hope that Kerry writes another book in a few years and that it makes a much happier read.

I've always liked Kerry. She just seems like a normal girl of my age with a similar personality. br /This is only the 2nd celebrity written book I've read (the other being Gary Barlow's My Take) and I was hooked from cover to cover. br /It gives you a real insight into her life makes you realise that the bubbly, lively, outgoing Kerry that we see on TV is not all it's cracked up to be. br /A truly inspirational read. A book I will keep forever. br /Joanne
