Fantastic book... had to learn flash in a hurry, a week later I'd completed my first project of a 14 page online brochure and the client was well impressed...

I had only ever tried old copies of photoshop and illustrator previously but now found myself needing to learn flash. With no idea where to begin this book brought me up to speed in a really fun, enjoyable and most important of all useful way.

Great book, good pace and informative September 29, 2009 Steve Johnson (Skye, Scotland) This book covers a wide range of topics including the new Motion Editor and Inverse Kinematics which, when you do the lessons, you'll be amazed at how easy it is to tweak animations and create articulated motion. It is well paced and enjoyable and although not complex, you will certainly say "cool!" at least once unless you are a wizard on Flash in which case you shouldn't be reading this!
Excellent introduction to Flash CS4 October 31, 2009 Mr. C. Hodson (Chester, England, UK) For someone who has hardly any experience of Flash at all, this book was a godsend. Beginning with simple exercises and introducing techniques carefully and with plenty of explanations, this book had me making some good looking animations in no time. Each tutorial is broken down into easily managable sections that allow you to make real progress without getting bogged down in jargon. Some training books I have used in the past require you to take on so much that you forget what you are doing or why you are doing it - not so with this one; it's clearly been written by a skillful team of educators who had absolute beginners in mind. Highly recommended.
