In my opinion, this book offers real time ActionScript solutions. The tutorials provided are easy to follow and straight-forward to handle - no more guessing where to go next to achieve the effect expected! At last a `how to do' book that really pay considerations for those individuals without much experience of Flash ActionScript, but also, a book that get you up and running like an `intermediate' user within no time! I thoroughly enjoying working through this book and would definitely recommend it. Excellent purchase!

For those who are new to ActionScript or need to recycle their knowledge on the subject, this friendly approach in a stepwise method helps to achieve that; its accessible level of understanding, yet, expressively professional makes it ideal for a good start into ActionScript.

A great intro to AS3 with Flash CS4 providing a good range of tutorials, easy to follow with clear and understandable explanations of what and why. The examples can be related to real world projects and you are bound to use most of the concepts if you use AS3 and Flash for development.

The reason that I was shopping online is the price and service. Until this point. I'm a student, so the time is everything, so I've ordered this book without the free supersavers delivery, thought will be quick, but it took 2.5 weeks for it to arrive! this is a lot of time! also the price was much higher when I've got her, now is £17! never again with this seller, and the same thing happened to all my group, most of us bought this book from the same seller, but all of them had to wait over two weeks. Don't bother with this seller...
