| Customer Reviews: A Great Book March 28, 2004 Matthew Francis 4 out of 4 found this review helpful
Hollywood Hulk Hogan tells all - from his personal life to his wrestling career. He talks about the problems he overcame, the matches he's had in the ring, and the life he has at home.brEvery chapter focuses on one thing, and it truly is captivating. As a wrestling fan, this is definitely an amazing book. In fact, I think a non-wrestling fan would be interested in this, too.brIt's not just about wrestling, so it is a book of variety - in only a way that Hogan can tell it.

br /I haven't got this book yet, but it was only yesterday I looked at it in W H Smith.
br /It looked massively good - and that was backed-up by `search-insideing' it on Amazon. It looks like an impressive account of Hulk's life.
br /Being a big fan of the Hulk, I can't wait to read it!
br /I bought it off eBay for £0.49 (sorry, Amazon, for plugging eBay...they're probably your main rivalry - haha), and it should be arriving any day soon.
br /But from the reviews I've already read, it looks good - Can't wait !!

A LEGEND CELEBRRATED.......... July 21, 2003 3 out of 4 found this review helpful
There is no doubt thaat hulk hogan is one of thelast remaining superstars ofthe golden era. His autobiography gives the reader an insight to his life as well as featurng some wrrestling tales spanning overr the last half-century. This book begins at the start and ends at thebegining when the hulkster makes his celebraated return against wrestling-great The Rock. Excellentt book thaat was written for fans and should only be read by fans.

I found this book very farfetched and alot of it seemed to be completly made up, such as his arm size, which he claims became alot bigger than the 24 that he was billed as.pI was glad however that he admitted certain things in this book (i'm not goin to spoil it for you) because everyone already knew and i personally did'nt think he would have admitted it.poverall it is quite an interesting book but you have to look past the constant B.S. if you can do this and look at the positive of it then this is for you.pi would however ask you to try ric flairs book first as it is definatly alot better, more interesting and more truthful than this, especially the part of it about Hogan

Ive never liked hulk hogan, but ive allways respected what hes done for wrestling. so i bought this book thinking that he would give a better insight on how his popularity exploded and hulkamania was born sadly this was not what i got.

br /i cant get over the fact that he extensivly portrays himself as " the greatest of all time " when we all know this is far from the truth. to me this book was an un-necessary read compared to some of the WWEs truly wonderful books ( mick foleys three books spring to mind ) this is far from a truly wonderful book, this is just hogan trying to live on to his past glory, and to inhance his own ego.

br /i wouldnt recomend this book for anyone looking for an insight on the backstage drama of wrestling for that i recomend foleys HARDCORE DIARY. also if you want to learn more of the truth about possobly the most successful, wrestler who dosnt know the first thing about wrestling look for a book like "to be the man"(RIC FLAIR) this will give you a true insite on the B.S that is hulk hogan. HOGAN SUCKS! TNA SUCKS!
