Amazon.co.uk Review
ISeinfeld/I was described as "the defining sitcom of our age" by IEntertainment Weekly/I, and to the legions of diehards who tune in and turn on to this cult Classic--no matter what time of day or night the powers-that-be choose to screen it--this unique, quirky and, frankly, funniest-show-on-the-box-ever looks likely to remain, for eternity, the best. p The joy of ISeinfeld/I, and perhaps the mystery of its success, is that really it is about nothing at all. Zilch. Just four friends, each with their own well defined and totally neurotic characteristics unashamedly on show, doing the best they can and somehow managing to turn even the most mundane of tasks or conversations into an epic kitchen-sink drama that brings everything sharply into perspective. p The next best thing to trying to track the series down in the TV listings is this complete collection of scripts from the show, dating back to the pilot episode and continuing through to the last scene of the second season. Classic episodes such as "The Pony Remark", which sees Jerry convincing himself that a chance encounter caused a Polish woman's death, and "The Chinese Restaurant", where Jerry, George and Elaine wait for a table at a restaurant, are all there alongside 15 other raucous scripts that will leave you with the Pythonesque urge to bore your friends with impromptu recitals of other unforgettable moments. Pure magic and pure genius combined. What more could you ask? --ISusan Harrison/I

5 out of 5 stars Even in text form it will have Seinfelders in tears   February 9, 2000

I am a vivid scripts reader, as well as a dedicated Seinfelder. So the thought of having the actual scripts to the first 17 episodes of Seinfeld seemed almost intimidating :-) And frankly I was laughing til my stomack hurt. And right after finishing it, I went and looked for the sequel. It will have you returning again and again, just to relive those special lines and things the fab four do :-)

4 out of 5 stars in depth scripts that put Seinfeld addicts right in the show   May 11, 1999
This book is a must for all Seinfeld fans. The scripts cover the first 2 series and are in so much depth they leave you imagining the set and actions as you read each episode.pA great read that will eventually have you in tears of laughterpWell worth the money
