Santa gave this book to my son in his stocking at Christmas! There were a few long faces at first - but this book has been such fun! He really loves going through the exercises and it has really boosted his self-esteem and confidence.

best carol vorderman book ever! July 4, 2009 clare (uk - tyne and wear) 3 out of 3 found this review helpful
this is fantastic, really helps kids to learn their times tables, sometimes it can be a bit repetitive but with times tables you need that - its the only way to learn, these books are simply superb!
MATHS MADE EASY August 23, 2009 Mrs. Y. Murdoch (Bham, England) 1 out of 1 found this review helpful
My daughter loved this book whizzed through it - gave her lots of confidence hopefully it will stay with her when she goes back to school.
Constructivism April 14, 2009 M. T. M. Leung My son hated it at the beginning but he was persuaded and assisted to do it, and now he feels a sense of success after following the tailored step by step practices. He has improvement on Maths just by doing the workbook at home with the assist of parent. The Author is really knowledgeble about Education because when other workbooks are compared to this, they are more confusingly complexed and lack of simple basic practices.
Great Series of books July 21, 2009 Kate Bonner (uk) My children are home educated (my wife is an ex-teacher) whilst we teach other subjects outside the National curriculum, we also make sure our children are inline with the NC should they choose to go to school at some point in the future. The course of books are a great tool for doing this as the closely follow the key stages with easy to follow examples.
br /Any parent expecting the book to do the work for them will be very disappointed, as this is not an XBOX360 but a work book, which will require input from both child and parent.
