5 out of 5 stars Gripping, Sexy, FANTASTIC READ!   August 12, 2006

I bought this on a spur of the moment thing. fancied a summer read and this Book caught my eye. It took awhile for the story to start, lots of charecters to introduce and storylines set out, but it begins to get really good right in the middle of the book, after that, its very difficult to put down. The charecters, all different and Vibrant in Many ways. I love the scandal, the secrets, the lies, the deception, the love, the Hate. ITS ALL GOOD! i definatly recomend this book. I am now a fan of jackie Collins, after reading this book, how could you not be. br /I am actually quite sad i finished the book, Would love to see a sequel *hint, hint*

The Queen of Hollywood has returned with this stonker of a bonkbuster. Amy Scott-Simon, a New York heiress is engaged to Max Diamond, a powerful real estate tycoon. At her hen party, she runs into Jett, who turns out to be Max's younger half brother who is fresh back from Italy and exile. Chris Diamond - an entertainment lawyer flies into town to meet up with his two brothers, and their dad - Red - a bonkers billionaire. Working as Red's housekeeper is Diahann, whos stunning daughter Liberty is busy pursuing her dream to be a singer, whilst Damon P Donnell, hip hop mogul supreme - persues her.... And then there's Mariska, Max Diamonds Russian socialite ex-wife, a women with more secrets than anyone, secrets that lead to her brutal and mysterious murder - Superb!!!

5 out of 5 stars You've got to love her!   April 5, 2009
The real Jane Austen (London)
This was my first foray into Jackie Collins, or indeed anything belonging to this genre. It was specifically bought for a beach holiday, and it made perfect holiday reading. I got into it within 5 pages and was hooked to the (larger than life) characters. Great literature is not what you're getting, but who cares, it's a damn good read.
