2 out of 5 stars The Unsinkable Heather Mills   July 17, 2009
Christine Bailey (London, Uk)
The book did not deliver as much as I hoped it would, it read as a P.R. stunt for Heather Mills, and had obvious major input from Heather herself and her immediate family, so I felt it had been doctored considerably. br / br /Also detailed Heather's personal plight with the media, which tantamount to the worse sort of bullying, showing the press will do anything they can to get a story to sell. Actually this book read as subtle pay back to the press and anyone else who had wronged her. br / br /An interesting read about a very clever woman who is very adept in playing the system, which I have to admire, it takes intelligence to do this and a certain amount of narcissism. br / br /

1 out of 5 stars A quick, cheap rehash with no investigative qualities   January 14, 2008

This "biography" (or sketch, more like) declares itself to be unauthorized because people assume that this word implies that it will contain scoops unloved by the subject. In fact, it contains no scoops, is a semi-hagiography of the subject and a rehash of a string of newspaper articles, with no intelligent analysis or original research. Lazy, boring book, probably selling a bit on the basis of the title. Don't bother.
