Another great book by this author, she excelled herself in her last book Nobodys girl. But yet again, she holds your attention continually by twisting and turning the plot so that you are never sure what the outcome will be. The storyline flows and the empathy you feel with the characters does justice to the skill of the author. It was a book that I found I could not put down and was able read the whole book in a few days. Well done. After reading the extract of her new book Draper's Alley roll on August 08.

I read this book in under two days. Couldn't put it down because I wanted to know what happened next. You feel empathy for the characters and engrossed in the storyline. Another excellent offering from Kitty Neale and I can't wait til August for 'Draper's Alley'.
Sins of the Father January 30, 2008 sammy (spain) Another great book from this author, a page turner with a suprising twist.
br /The characters are so real, in depth and I can't wait to read Kitty Neale's next one.
Sins of the Father February 9, 2008 Mrs. J. A. Vivian (Aldershot, Hants, UK) Another enthralling read from a talented author.
br /Characterisation and story-line are first class as always.
Great story but.................................. July 14, 2008 Robin Hobb fan (Kent, UK) 3 out of 3 found this review helpful
I bought this book as part of a 3 for 2 offer and, as I was in a hurry, picked it because the cover looked interesting..................
br /Well, I kept reading until the end because I DID want to know what happened but the writing style made me feel that I was back in the junior class at school. You know the type of thing, 'she climbed the stairs and then she walked along the landing and then she opened the door and then she entered the room......................' It began to feel very contrived and, though I still wanted to know what actually happened, I was pretty certain by about a quarter of the way through how it was going to end.
