Is iThe Game/i by Neill Strauss an assiduously detailed, highly entertaining exposé of a fascinating secret society -- the international community of pickup artists who have refined their talents for getting women into bed to the nth degree? Or is it an extremely funny hoax? Early drafts of the book had people wondering, and men in particular speculated if the book would deliver some valuable `how to' tips as an aid to entering a sexual wonderland. In fact, it doesn't really matter whether you take the basic premise seriously or not: Strauss' wonderfully diverting book delivers great entertainment whatever your point of view. pAccording to Strauss, the clandestine society of men he describes here take wagers in clubs and bars throughout the Western world over just who can chalk up the most Casanova-like quantities of pickups and seductions. But this isn't merely for the thrill of an army of sexual conquests -- all of this is coded and organised according to an almost military-style ritual, with an elaborate series of rules and regulations that the participants rigorously follow. The set up is atypical: A bloke goes undercover into a secret society (reminds me of fight club, actually) in order to see how these other blokes get women. Well, that's the gist of it and that's what the author does. What follows is his expolits into this world and how he plays "the game". Not bad in that it is set in real life situtations, but I don't know if I'd be willing to go to these lengths. However, it's a great, quick read most blokes will love. I also liked another book on real seduction called "Get Laid Now! The Man's Guide to Picking Up Women and Casual Sex" for the tips.

This book is specifically aimed at men seducing women. If all you want is sex as a way to keep score, it can help. Sure there are some little-known secrets to learn about how to start a conversation, how to move it along until she#8217;s yours. It#x27;s more or less a numbers game. This book is one description of a set of techniques that will help improve your numbers.pIt gives a much well rounded view of the community for those who are in it and don#x27;t know much about it, from Strauss#8217;s perspective. For those who aren#x27;t in the community, I think this book would be a very exciting story that they can relate to. It#8217;s definately a must read for men who want to be more successful in seducing women, but don#x27;t know where to start. Confience, knowledge and being one step further in #8220;the game#8221; is of paramout importance. Since everything has to end in bed having first class sexual abilities is also important. That#8217;s why a great pair is #8220;Scientiifcally guaranteed ultimate sex#8221;. Neil tells you step by step how to attract, seduce and get laid while Alan Ritz reveals you how to leave her breathless. It#8217;s very possible to become very good at the art and science of seducing and satisfying women, just as it#x27;s possible to improve at playing the guitar or dancing Tango. Along with thoroughly entertaining you, this book gives you the sense that practicing what the characters preach (analyzing social situations and adjusting your behavior accordingly for desired outcomes) will help you gain confidence in front of others and eventually enable you to enthrall them up to the desired hot finish.

This is one of the most intriguing books I have ever read! The main character is fascinating and I envied him at least 4 times. The idea itself for the existence of a secret society of pick up artists is quite intriguing. I think that Neil has presented as a true master story teller all those ups and downs he went through till "the happy end".

br /This book will show to the average guy the "picking up" of girls from a completely different perspective. It is neither that difficult nor it is easy, if you know certain "lines, affirmations, etc. I would love to see this great story as a movie. Additional bestseller which wowed me is Alan Ritz' "Scientifically guaranteed male multiple orgasms and ultimate sex". If you want to pick up girls you must be good in bed as well!

I enjoyed Neil#8217;s story very much. It is great that he shared his 2 years long experience in picking up girls. I also learned a lot of things from this book and consider it very valuable. I think that even at the beginning Style is a brave and above average men because few will dare to explore the #8220;dark#8221; side of the male sexuality and pick up techniques. Few will say: Enough, I want something more when they have had so many hot girls. If you know how to read between the lines there is a lot you can learn. Strauss is a master story teller and keeps you excited what will happen next. Talking about girls and a lot of sex I also highly recommend #8220;Scientifically guaranteed male multiple orgasms and ultimate sex#8221; by Alan Ritz.

As a woman reading about men picking up women - I was gripped!! - I identified with techniques that have been used on me!!!! When I went to a sports match this weekend - a guy started to flirt with me - I thought Ohmygod - He's SARGING me!! brAlthough the topic seems callous and calculated and could be perceived as debasing women, or treating them as a commodity: all the same, and all equally gettable, in fact the book does more to look at the weaknesses and flaws of the male psyche and, for me, evoked sympathy and pity. brAn excellently constructed book - which has put me on my guard (and helped me approach men!!)brEnjoy!
