Celtic keen to keep Dembele

Celtic have revealed they are in no rush to sell Moussa Dembele following reports Arsenal are tracking the striker.

The 20-year-old has been a revelation since joining Celtic on a free transfer from Fulham in the summer, and his performances have already caught the eye of Europe's big guns.

Arsene Wenger has sent his scouts to check out the striker, while it has also been reported that both Real Madrid and Bayern Munich are keeping an eye on him.

Even so, one of Celtic's biggest shareholders, Dermot Desmond, insists they are under no pressure to sell, and is confident of keeping hold for now.

"I think so. Hopefully we can," he revealed when quizzed over whether Celtic would be able to keep hold. "They're a team, they're together, we don't need to sell any players.

"Hopefully we can retain him but again our job is to have players that are wanted by other clubs in the Premier League and elsewhere.

"That will be an indication of the quality of footballers that we have."
