Marcus Trescothick Not Coming Home

Marcus Trescothick has decided to stay on the tour of Pakistan after discussing the matter with family.

Trescothick considered returning home after his father-in-law fell off a ladder, sustaining serious head injuries.

"The past few days have been very traumatic for my family" Trescothick said.

Trescothick discussed his options with England's management before making his final decision on Friday.

If Marcus Trescothick had returned home it would have added to England's batting problems as captain Michael Vaughan's fitness level is unsure, ahead of the second Test on Sunday.
