Alex Ferguson has praised the character of his Manchester United squad.
The premiere league leader had to wait until the eighty eight minute for Dimitar Berbatov to score the winning goal to seal a 1-0 win over Bolton yesterday.
United had been reduced to ten men after Jonny Evans received a straight red card for his tackle on Stuart Holden.
Speaking to the BBC Ferguson said: "That is what the character of this club is all about.
"No other club in the country has got that. We are fantastic at getting something out of a dead situation.
"We have had five massive games in the last couple of weeks," added the Scot, who watched from the stands at Old Trafford as he began a five-match touchline ban.
"It has been a hard programme and the lads deserve a lot of praise for that. This was not a 100% top performance from us but we never gave in."
The win sees them move five points clear at the top of the Premier League after Arsenal could only manage a 2-2 draw at West Brom.
The 1-0 over Bolton rounded off a good week for Manchester United as they reached the quarter finals of the Champions League after a 2-1 win over Marseille in mid-week.
