Arsene Wenger Calls For Fans to Get Behind Arsenal

Arsene Wenger has called on Arsenal fans to stick with the club despite a tough week for the Gunners.

Arsenal were dumped out of the Champions League after falling to Barcelona early last week. And they exited the FA Cup at the weekend with a quarter final loss to Manchester United.

The London club are now focusing on the Premier League title - they are now just three points behind leader Manchester United with a game in hand.

And Wenger has called on fans to get behind the club as they now focus on the fight for the Premiere League title.

Speaking to The Sun Wenger said: "The fans were absolutely amazing on Saturday and we need them at West Brom now.

"Hopefully they keep cheering us and keep the morale as well because we have to support each other now in that final part of the season, because it is a vital part."

"It is very hard to take because they were two major targets of the season, and we are out of them in the space of a few days.

"The team has put a lot of effort in, but we have to focus on our next challenge - and that is the Premier League.

"We have to regroup and show we are mentally strong.

"I believe we can win the title, but we want to get some players back and not lose any more than we have in the last two games."

Over the next few weeks Arsenal will face West Brom, Blackburn and Blackpool as they look to overhaul United at the top of the League.
