Carlo Ancelotti has revealed that he would never quit his job at Chelsea - despite his certain looking uncertain after the London club crashed out of the FA Cup at the weekend.

Chelsea fell to Everton on Saturday after a penalty shoot-out to pile more misery on the club - so are having a very poor season.

They are currently fifth in the Premier League - so out of the Champions League places for last season - and look very unlikely to defend their crown.

Last season Chelsea did the domestic double under Ancelotti but now an really only look to the Champions League as possible silverware this season.

Speaking to Sky Sports Ancelotti said: I have never quit, resigned or walked out and I'm not in the mood to quit now.

"I don't have to consider my position. It is the owner that has to consider my position, not myself.

"I just have to work and try to do my best. This is football, you have to be able to manage at this moment with confidence."

Chelsea face FC Copenhagen away from home in the Champions League on Tuesday night in the first leg of their final sixteen clash.

And Ancelotti is looking for a win: "The Champions League is not easy, but it will bring a lot of motivation for every one of us.

"We have to have the right pressure. We have to play against Copenhagen. We have 180 minutes to win this game."

"Chelsea won't go out against Copenhagen. I think we have the possibility to win against Copenhagen."
