Carlos Tevez Committed To Manchester City

Carlos Tevez has spoke out about his commitment to Manchester City.

The future of Tevez at City looked uncertain earlier in the season after he handed in a transfer request.

However he withdrew that request and is new in great form - scoring all three goals in City's 3-0 win over West Brom at the weekend.

And despite trouble earlier in the season Tevez revealed that he is committed to the club and intends to play his best for the shirt.

Tevez told Manchester City's official website: "I never walked out of the club or wanted to do any harm to the club, not for anything in the world.

"I do not think there is anyone who loves the shirt more than me. I show that in every game I play. I give everything I have got.

"I do not speak very often to the press. I just have it in my head, I do my talking out there on the field, which is the most important thing.

"People might want to have a pop at me but I am completely at ease here. I want to do my best for the City shirt."

City's 3-0 win at the weekend saw them move to within a single point of Arsenal - who let a 4-0 lead slip to pick up just a single point after a 1-1 draw.

City are now five points behind league leaders Manchester United after their shock defeat to Wolves on Saturday.

And City face United at the weekend at Old Trafford.
