Carlos Tevez Praised By David Silva

Carlos Tevez has been praised by his Manchester City teammate David Silva.

Tevez scored two goals in Manchester City's 4-1 victory over Fulham at the weekend to see the side move to number four in the Premier League.

But Silva has heaped praise on the striker and called him one of the best players that he has ever played alongside.

Speaking to Sporting Life Silva said: "Carlos is a great striker, one of the best I have played with," said Silva.

"David Villa tends to go more to the wings and look for the spaces behind the defence, whereas Carlos works in the centre channel and also holds the ball in front for us so we can play.

"They are both great goalscorers."

After a dip in form Manchester City are back at the heart of the title race, just three points behind league leaders Chelsea and Manchester United - who are tied on twenty eight points.

All of the teams have been picking up and dropping points which, at the moment makes it one of the tightest races for the title in recent years.

"Everyone has been losing points but the same is also true of us," he said.

"All we can do is keep on moving forward, try to do our job and see where it takes us."
