Carlos Tevez Wants City Consistency

Carlos Tevez believes that Manchester City have to show more consistency against the smaller teams if they really want to challenge for the Premier League title this season.
City enjoyed a 1-0 win over league leaders Chelsea at the weekend, the first loss for the London club since the start of the new season, but now Tevez calls for his side to continue putting in these performances and winning against the smaller sides.
Speaking to The Sun he said: "We always play very well against the big teams but the important thing now is we concentrate and play the same game against the smaller teams.
"If we can do that it will take us to the next level."
But the Manchester City captain recognises that the win over Chelsea was an important one but admits they are still growing as a team.
"This was a great result in the battle for the Championship. It was really important we won. I like playing against most teams but seem to make a special mark against Chelsea.
"We are becoming a strong team and as captain it's important I give them the strength and spirit to continue this way."
It's been a strong start to the season for City, who are currently in fourth on eleven points after the opening six games.
And City are back in action later this week as they clash with Juventus in the Europa League at Eastlands before a home game against Newcastle at the weekend.
