Cesc Fabregas will not rush his return after suffering from further hamstring problems.
The Arsenal captain picked up the injury during his side's loss to Braga in the Champions League last week.
And while Arsene Wenger expected to be without Fabregas for a fortnight the Spanish international insists he will not rush his return.
Speaking to Sky Sports he said: "I don't want to put a date on my return yet, I will take my time.
"The team did really well without me against Aston Villa, so I will wait until it is completely ready.
"It is so frustrating, though. It seems when something like that happens, it all goes wrong at the same time, so you have to be strong, put everything behind you and keep working."
The London club were back in action on Tuesday night as they beat Wigan 2-0 in the Carling Cup, they will now face Ipswich Town in the semi-final.
Arsenal were trying to rebuild some confidence at the weekend after two consecutive defeats and a 4-2 win away at Aston Villa saw them move level on twenty nine point with Chelsea.
