Didier Drogba Ready For Arsenal Clash

Didier Drogba has revealed that he is ready to face Arsenal in the London derby this weekend.

Both teams enjoyed wins in the ChampionsLeague this week, Chelsea seeing off Marseille 2-0 while Arsenal won 3-1 away to Partizan Belgrade.

But the Ivory Coast international admits that he loves playing in the big Premier League clashes and it means a lot to him to face their London rivals.

Speaking to Sky Sports News he said: "I love playing big games and I love playing against Arsenal.

"I always say that Arsenal is one of my favourite teams.

"When I was playing in France, Arsenal was an example for us because there were all these French players who used to play in the French league and went abroad to play for Arsenal with a French manager.

"So to play against them for me means a lot."

Chelsea went into their Champions League match on Tuesday night off the back of two consecutive defeats as they lost to Manchester City Last weekend and crashed out of the Carling Cup to Newcastle just a couple of days before.

The loss to Manchester City was the first points that Chelsea had dropped so far this season having won the opening five matches.
