Dimitar Berbatov has revealed that he admires team-mates Ryan Giggs, Gary Neville and Paul Scholes for playing at a high level in their thirties.
Berbatov has made a blistering start to the 2010 season for Manchester United, silencing anyone who called for the club to sell him this summer, and is the leading scorer.
But the striker admires the veteran players of side, Scholes and Giggs who still have a huge role to play in the side, but doesn't think that he will follow in their footsteps.
Speaking to Manchester United's official website Berbatov said: Me? At 35? No way!
"Seriously, though, everyone is different and you have to know your body is giving you the signals to stop. Having been here for two seasons, I know why Giggs, Scholes, Neville have been here for so long and why they are still playing.
"Here they have the facilities and the coaching staff who know how to prepare you. Obviously you need to focus on the football and when you go home, you have to be professional and know how to live your life.
"I see all these things in these three guys, especially.
"They are still playing at the highest level, so I think to myself, 'Can I do that?' If not, then at least try to see how long I can play for.
"But when your body tells you, that's when you have to stop and not make a fool of yourself."
Manchester United are not in action this weekend due to international duty and they will be back in action on the 16th October against West Brom.
United only managed a 0-0 draw against Sunderland and are currently third in the Premier League, five points behind leaders Chelsea and just a point behind Manchester City.
