Barca Agree Eto'o - Ibrahimovic Exchange

Barcelona and Inter Milan have apparently agreed a deal which will see Inter Milan's Zlatan Ibrahimovic travelling to Spain and Barcelona's Samuel Eto'o heading in the opposite direction.

Reports suggest Barca have agreed to pay in the region of £35m plus Eto'o in return for Ibrahimovic, plus a year long loan of Alex Hleb to the Italian side.

The signing though depends on an agreement from all involved,  but Joan Laporta has also stated he is still intent on signing Valencia's David Villa.

Cameroon  international Eto'o has scored more than 100 goals in five seasons at the Nou Camp but has been regularly linked with moves away from the club and is out of contract next summer making him a free agent able to negotiate a free transfer from January 2010.

Since signing for Inter from Juventus following the Turin side's demotion to Serie B in 2006, Ibrahimovic has become one of the most prized strikers in Europe.

The Swedish international was top scorer in Serie A last season and has been looked at by both Real Madrid and Manchester United, Eto'o was the subject of a failed bid by Uniteds neighbours Manchester City.

Inter Milan have already sold Brazilian left-back Maxwell to Bacelona for a reported £3.9m deal
