John Terry says that he is fit and ready for the FA Cup final against Portsmouth on Saturday.
The defender hurt his foot during a training session on Wednesday and needed a scan to check the extent of the damage.
Speaking to the BBC the Chelsea captain said: I'm fine and looking forward to the game.
"I was just running back to goal and Daniel Sturridge fell on top of me. My foot was caught underneath. I thought it was quite bad initially.
"But once I had the scan, it was just bruising and today there was no problem at all.
"It was sorted out in a couple of hours but I was a bit scared, I must say.
"Once I had the scan I didn't wear the boot, it's just protection really. The doctor advised me to keep it on. But once I got the scan results I was back in my normal trainer."
Chelsea are looking to do the domestic double after they won the Premier League title last weekend, pipping Manchester United to the title by a single point.
Terry has also been named amongst Fabio Capello's thirty for the Wrold Cup this summer in South Africa, although that number does have to be cut to twenty three.
