Jose Mourinho Hits Out At City

Jose Mourinho has admitted that he agreed with Alex Ferguson when he said that Manchester City's spending was 'kamikaze'.
Ferguson hit out at his Manchester rivals as Roberto Mancini spent over $100 million this summer as he brought a string of new players, including James Milner and Aleksandar Kolarov, to Eastlands.
And Mourinho, who revealed had his eye on Kolarov for the Bernabeu, believes that other teams cannot compete with Manchester City in the transfer market.
Speaking exclusively to Sky Sports News HD Mourinho said: If they have the money and if they pay then it's not a drama. But I understand that if someone wants to compete with them for a player, it's very difficult to compete against them.
"They are dominant in the market. The player they say 'this is the player I want' is the player they get. I was very interested in Kolarov when I came here. I couldn't compete with them, because they went to values that you cannot go.
"So when Sir Alex says 'kamikaze', if he's referring to the way they are going and eating the market then I agree with him. But if they have the money, they can do it. And if they have the ambition to win the Premiership, they can do it."
Mourinho took Inter Milan European and domestic success last season left to take over as manager at Real Madrid.
