Kenny Dalglish Wants A Bit Of Luck

Kenny Dalglish admits that he and his Liverpool side were disappointed to come away from Blackpool empty handed last night but believes that they do need a bit of luck.
Blackpool beat the Reds of the second time this season as a second goal twenty minutes from time saw them notch up a 2-1 win.
Liverpool made the perfect start as an early goal from Fernando Torres got Liverpool on the score sheet.
But their lead lasted just nine minutes as Gary Taylor-Fletcher got the equaliser. Blackpool created the most chances throughout the match but they were locked together at 1-1 at half time.
Blackpool has the worst home record in the Premier League but a second half goal from DJ Campbell proved to be the winner.
Dalglish took over Liverpool at the weekend after Roy Hodgson left his post as manager after just six months.
But Dalglish is yet to have a win as manager as his side lost 1-0 to Manchester United at the weekend in the FA Cup third round.
And while Dalglish believes that there are some positives to be taken from these two matches he believes that his side needs a bit of luck.
Speaking to Yahoo Sport Dalglish said: “We are disappointed we have come away from the game with no points.
"We got off to a good start; a couple of good passes and Fernando got in and finished really well.
"Their first goal we were on the verge of breaking clear, misplaced a pass and they turned it around, went up the pitch and got a break of the ball off Daniel Agger before their lad finished well.
"If we had just laid the pass off and collected it and gone up the other end of the pitch we would have walked it in for 2-0 and so if there was a turning point that would be it.
"The second goal we cleared the corner quite sufficiently and then it has come back in and we've not picked up."
"It was pleasing to see their commitment and effort when you consider a lot of them played against United for an hour with 10 men.
"We had some good positives but the most positive thing that is going to help the players most of all is to pick up some wins.
"It's all very well being a decent side but every side which has been successful and has ever done anything needs that bit of luck.
"At the moment that has turned against us but the longer we stick in and the less sorry we feel for ourselves the better chance we will have of correcting it.
"It is not just a change of luck, we have a lot of work to do as opposed to being lucky."
Liverpool is back in action on Sunday for the Merseyside derby against Everton.
