Kenny Dalglish has revealed that Ryan Babel will not be leaving Liverpool during the transfer window.
Babel was expected to be on his way to Hoffenheim after a fee was believed to have been accepted for the winger. But now it appears that the Dutchman is staying put.
Speaking to Sky Sports the Liverpool manager said:"He's staying here." However Dalglish didn't elaborate on how long he would be remaining at Anfield.
Dalglish also refused to comment on whether Liverpool would increase their offer for Blackpool star Charlie Adams after a £4 million was turned down by the club.
"I've said before, when we've got some business to discuss, we will discuss.
"We've said that we will try and adopt the way of Liverpool Football Club, certainly one of our ways is to be respectful to other club, and certainly players at other clubs.
"The most important thing we have is the ones at our football club, not somebody else's players."
Dalglish tasted victory for the first time since taking over as manager of Liverpool as they won 3-0 away to Wolves at the weekend to take a much needed three points.
Fernando Torres scored twice while Meireles got a third. The win moves Liverpool up to tenth on twenty nine points.
They will be looking to build on that win in mid-week as they take on Fulham at Anfield.
