Liverpool are set to play Turkish side Trabzonspor in the play off round of the Europa League.

Roy Hodgson's side found themselves in this afternoon's draw after a 2-0 win, 4-0 on aggregate, over Rabotnicki last night.

Two David Ngog goals last week saw Liverpool bring a good lead to Anfield and they were totally in control by half time when Ngog got a third while Steven Gerrard got his first goal of the season.

Joe Cole made his home debut and it was a pass from the former Chelsea man that set up Ngog in the twenty second minute.

While the second half lacked much of anything Liverpool did just what was needed and looked to be playing with more confidence and purpose in the opening minutes of the match.

They will face Trabzonspor on 19 and 26 of August.

Manchester City, who narrowly missed out on a Champions League spot, will face Romanian side Timisoara while Aston Villa will play Rapid Vienna.

Villa will be looked for revenge after they crashed out to Vienna twelve months ago on away goals.

Celtic may have crashed out of the Champions League earlier this week but they will hope for Europa glory as they will face Dutch side Utrecht while Dundee United will play AEK Athens and Motherwell face Aalesunds.

And the solo Welsh sides in the draw is TNS and they will play CSKA Sofia.
