Pepe Reina has hinted that he may consider playing his football elsewhere if Liverpool are not battling it out for trophies.
The future of the Liverpool goalkeeper has already been called in question after the poor start made by the Reds this season.
Reina singed a six year contract earlier this year but Manchester United and arsenal are believed to been watching the situation at Anfield.
Speaking to The Daily Mail Reina said: "I signed a six-year contract seven months ago and I'm happy at the club, but every footballer wants to be competing for trophies and winning things.
"I will stay at Liverpool at least until the end of the season.
"I know there are rumours about me leaving, but I want to make it clear that I have no intention of going back to Spain."
However Liverpool seem to have turned a corner in their season as they beat league leaders Chelsea 2-0 at the weekend to move them up ninth in the league.
Now on fifteen points Liverpool are now just ten points behind Chelsea, who remain at the top of the table. And the side is back in action tomorrow night when they face Wigan away from home.
