Peter Crouch backs Shaun Wright-Philips move

Portsmouths striker says he would welcome the arrival of Wright-Phillips.

Harry Redknapp has publicly declared his admiration for Wright-Phillips.

The 26-year-old would be likely to command a fee upwards of £10m.

Redknapp has stated that he would need to sell some of his fringe squad players, in order to release the funds to make further big-money signings.

Crouch signed for Pompey from Liverpool for £11m earlier this month.
