Roberto Mancini Wants Goals From Adebayor

Roberto Mancini is hoping that Emmanuel Adebayor's first goal of the 2010 season will not be far away after coming close last night.
Manchester City had to come from a goal down for 1-1 drawn with Italian giants Juventus in their second match of the Europa Cup group stage.
Mancini played Adebayor up front with Carlos Tevez who, with Mario Balotelli currently out, has been the main strike force at Eastlands.
And while Manicni admits that he was happy with Adebayor's performance, he was substituted with sixteen minutes to go, he is now looking for him to find the back of the net.
Speaking to Sky Sport the City boss said: "I wouldn't say it was a frustrating night for him. The main thing he was available today after 20 days out.
"I am happy with his performance but what I would like is for Emmanuel to score a goal. We need him to score goals. This is what we are working for."
And the injury problems are a concern for the City boss who is having to rely heavily on Tevez, however the Argentinean has scored thirty three goals from fifty appearances for the club.
"I am concerned about the situation. If we had all our strikers available probably sometimes Carlos could miss a game.
"But we knew we would have a problem with injuries until the end of this month.
"After the next lot of internationals, we might get some players back and Jo and Emmanuel Adebayor might be 100 per cent."
Manchester are back in Premier League action this weekend as they face Newcastle on Sunday at Eastlands.
