Steven Gerrard Believes Booing Is Deserved

Steven Gerrard believes that England deserve any boos that may come their way at tomorrow night's friendly against Hungary at Wembley.
England put in a string of below par performances at the World Cup in South Africa this summer, losing to Germany 4-1 in the first of the knock out stages.
Going into the competition England had come off the back of an impressive qualifying campaign which had seen them top their group.
But Gerrard, who captained England in South Africa, admits that they were not good enough and wants to turn things around.
Speaking to Sky Sports he said: "I'm sure there will be boos at times tomorrow night but we have to deal with that, we have to be men and take it on the chin.
"We deserve it. We let them (the fans) down in the summer. So we have to get on with that and hopefully in time we can show them we are a good team, there is a togetherness there and hopefully we can make them happy in the future."
Despite Fabio Capello coming under fire after the World Cup the Liverpool player believes that the Italian is still the man for the job.
"I've got big faith in this manager as I've said all along. I think it would be very stupid and naïve not to still have that confidence in him moving forward. He's a fantastic manager.
"You can't just shift all the blame towards the manager in these situations. The players go out there and cross the white line to perform, so we have to share the blame around the coaching staff and the players and take it on the chin together.
"I've got total confidence in the manager and his coaching staff, and I've got total confidence in the players around me that we can change things around and become a good team in the future."
While Wednesday's match is only a friendly qualifying for Euro 2012 will soon get under way and England find themselves in a group with Switzerland, Bulgaria, Wales and Montenegro.
