Wayne Rooney Not Writing Off Chelsea

Wayne Rooney has admitted that Manchester United have not written off Chelsea during the second half of the season.
Manchester United went five points clear at the top of the Premier League last night after 3-1 win over Aston Villa - they are now ten points ahead of Chelsea.
And while the London side have fell off the pace in recent weeks Rooney, who scored twice in last night’s win, believes that they could still mount a serious challenge.
Speaking to Sky Sport Rooney said: We certainly haven't written Chelsea off.
"They are a big strong side and we know if anyone is capable of going on a good run then it is them.
"But we know it is up to us where the title goes and hopefully we can win it back."
And while Rooney is keeping an eye on United’s closest rivals he is also looking at his own form in the hope that his two goals last night will kick off some good form.
Rooney has struggled for fitness this season and, until last night, had scored just twice for his club but he is now looking for some consistency.
“I have been happy with my play but obviously I want to score.
"As a striker you want to score goals but I have been happy with my performances, apart from the Blackpool match last week when I just couldn't get back into the game.
"I am delighted to have scored and hopefully I can go on a run now and help the team to win games."
Manchester United are back in action on Saturday as they face Wolves at the Molineux.
