Wigan Athletics player Scharner has knee surgery

Scharner has been out since the beginning of December Due to injury.

Wigan midfielder Paul Scharner is said to be out for up to two months after having knee surgery.

Paul Scharner had been always present at Jewell's side before the injury.

After signing Swedish defender Andreas Granqvist on loan.

Paul Jewell says he still wants to add another midfielder to the latics squad.
