It's been confirmed that Celtic are in the race for £1.5m striker Diego Tristan.
Manager Gordon Strachan said he was keen to add experience to his young side and the 30 year old striker fits in just right with this plan, even though the club face stiff competition for the player.
Both Benefica and Sporting Lisbon are also looking to land Tristan, but a Spanish Giants Deportivo La Coruna have yet to make a descision.
Depor boss Augusto Cesar Lendorio said: "It is probable that there will be news in the next few days, He will probably go abroad.
"The interest from Benfica is certain, as is that from Sporting Lisbon and Celtic. Although, in each case, it would be necessary to negotiate."
