Fry 'soaking up' Stubbs' wisdom

Boro starlet Dael Fry, currently on loan at Rotherham, says he is "soaking up" the advice of Millers manager Alan Stubbs.

The England Under-19 defender has broken into the Rotherham line-up recently and has been talking about what he wants to achieve in South Yorkshire.

"I am absolutely delighted to be here,” Fry told the Millers' website.

"We have some good experienced players at the club and I am hoping to come here and learn from some of them, and go back to Middlesbrough a better player."

And Fry knows he can really rely on the advice of manager Stubbs, who played almost 500 matches during an 18-year career at the top level.

The 19-year-old added: "The manager has played the game at the highest level, and has so much experience. It is always nice to be able to ask questions and soak up the knowledge; it is something that I will always do."
