Assistant head coach Ben Garner has confirmed that West Brom aim to build on their 'good base' with further new signings in January.
The Baggies did the majority of their summer business late in the window, with boss Tony Pulis swooping to bring in the likes of record signing Nacer Chadli, Allan Nyom, Hal Robson-Kanu, Matt Phillips and Brendan Galloway, who joined on a season-long loan from Everton.
The five new faces have all fitted into the side with ease to help West Brom occupy a respectable ninth position in the Premier League, with nine points from seven games going into the current international break.
However, Garner has revealed the plan is for Albion to try and add more new players into the mix when the window reopens in the new year.
"I think we've got a good base,” he said in the Express & Star. "There's a good solid group of professional players here now.
"We've added some quality in the window that we needed, but we'd still like to add more. I think we need further reinforcements when the window opens in January. If we can get on a good run and get some momentum going hopefully we can look to improve on last season."
