Jamie Vardy says Leicester's 3-0 win over Club Brugge was the "perfect start" to their Champions League campaign.
The Foxes made a statement with a win on the road in their first European outing as a Marc Albrighton strike and a double from Riyad Mahrez sealed the win.
Leicester now sit top of the Group G table with three points as the other fixture between Porto and FC Copenhagen ended in a 1-1 draw.
Vardy was delighted with the result and he feels Leicester sent a message to their rivals with their dominant display in Brugge.
"It's the perfect start," he told BT Sport. "We showed exactly what we can do. No fear, we just played our football and let that do the talking."
