Harry Kane, Mousa Dembele and Eric Dier were all forced out of Tottenham's 1-0 win against Sunderland because of injury problems.
Kane's second goal of the season came to Spurs' rescue at White Hart Lane but manager Mauricio Pochettino will be sweating on the striker's fitness after he had to be carried off on a stretcher in the 89th minute with what appeared to be an ankle injury.
The striker's injury followed on from England international team-mate, Dier, also limping out of the action along with Dembele within three minutes of each other during the second half.
Boss Mauricio Pochettino will no doubt have to wait for the trio to be examined by the club's medical staff before knowing how serious their problems are and if they face a spell on the sidelines.
Meanwhile, the victory sends Tottenham up to third in the table and maintains their unbeaten start, while Sunderland remain without a win in the Premier League this season.
The Black Cats were reduced to 10 men late on when Adnan Januzaj was shown a second yellow card but the sending off barely affected the contest, which Spurs dominated from start to finish.
