Walker - Spurs' ambitions are sky high

Kyle Walker says Tottenham are not prioritising one competition over others this season and they're going for glory on all fronts.

Tottenham will be fighting on four fronts this season when the FA Cup gets underway in January and Walker says such is the quality in Mauricio Pochettino's squad that they are aiming to do as well as possible in every competition.

Spurs are already through to the fourth round of the EFL Cup after beating Gillingham 5-0 on Wednesday and will face Liverpool next, while they will resume their Champions League campaign next week against CSKA Moscow and they've made a good start in the Premier League as they sit in third place after five games.

"We're in it to win it, as they say," Walker said on Football Focus. "We're in all competitions and we want to win all competitions. We don't go out there and say, 'we're not going to win this one today because we’re thinking about the other game'.

"With the depth of squad we have we can go out and attack every game and play the way that we play, knowing that if we're not fit for one game the cover is there."

He added: "Hopefully we can go far in each competition; I’d love to show my two little boys that Daddy's won a medal with Tottenham. Hopefully it can be this season."

Spurs play Middlesbrough away in the Premier League on Saturday as they look to extend their unbeaten start to the season.
