The Formula 1 season will be busier next year as Bernie Ecclestone has revealed that there will be a twentieth race in India.

The nineteen races on the calendar this year already equals the record but Ecclestone is looking forward to expanding the sport even further.

We are not dropping anything," he said, adding with a smile: "Get ready for 25."

Despite the Formula One supermo criticising the promoting of the Chines Grand prix, which goes ahead this weekend in Shanghai the race will go ahead next year.

A seven year deal in Shanghai comes to an end this weekend but Ecclestone admits that there are no plans to move the race elsewhere.

"We're happy with everything. No dramas... the contract is ongoing here and it will go on. It is a rolling contract.

"They are not promoting it properly; it is as simple as that.

"The people that run the place ought to do a bit more. If you were in Shanghai you wouldn't even know there is a race here.

"It is a shame because the whole venue is super, everything is good."

Shanghai hosts the fourth race of the 2010 Formula One season this weekend as Ferrari hold the top two spots in the early race for the world title.
