Sebastian Vettel Wins 10th Race Of The Season

Sebastian Vettel notched up a tenth race win of the season as cruised to victory at the Korean Grand Prix.

The German became a two time world champion last week and his victory today saw Red Bull snatch the constructors' championship for the second year in a row.

Despite Lewis Hamilton being on pole Vettel overtook him on the first lap and was never put under any pressure for the remainder of the race.

All the excitement was happening behind as Hamilton came under pressure from another Red Bull in the form of Mark Webber, who started fourth on the grid, but Hamilton was able to fend him off.

Last week’s winner Jenson Button could only manage fourth while Fernando Alonso finished fifth, just ahead of team-mate Felipe Massa.

Speaking to BBC the new world champion said: "It's good to see that the whole team keeps on pushing.

To come here and after a tough Friday and Saturday to come back in the race was fantastic.

"I was getting quicker and quicker and I didn't need the safety car. Lewis came closer again but the car seemed to stabilise and I was able to maintain the gap.

"At the end it was fantastic I was able to push when I wanted to. It's fantastic [to win] last week the drivers' championship and this week the constructors' championship."

Vettel now has 349 points while Button is still in second place on 222 points, ten points clear of Alonso on 212.

There are three races left this season and F1 will be heading to India for the first time in a fortnight.
