Lewis Hamilton is hoping to get off to a quick start at the Singapore GP as he looks to hold off Mercedes team mate Nico Rosberg.
The race for the world title is tighter than ever between Hamilton and Rosberg with the latter trailing by two points.
Hamilton looked dominant last time out during qualifying at Monza but was left behind on race day as Rosberg stole a march on his rival from the off.
The Brit has admitted that he has struggled for consistency from the start line and feels that could come back to haunt him at the end of the campaign.
Hamilton said: "It's harder now with the regulations in terms of getting a consistently good getaway.
"I just had more torque than was predicted.
"If you gauge my season then the championship could be lost through starts.
"A lot of pole positions I've lost the race from the start.
"You do all the work during the weekend and two seconds, whatever it is, had determined some of the races."
