In case you didn't know today (17th) marks 100 days to go until England and Australian once again lock horns for the Ashes.
England are the current holders of the urn but November 25th will see one of the most famous rivalries in sport re-ignited as England travel down under to try and retain the Ashes.
However England have not won the series in Australia since 1986/87. And while Rocky Ponting believes that a whitewash of England is a possibility Andrew Strauss and his boys could well be a formidable opposition after a successful summer.
The boys are back in action tomorrow as the face Pakistan in the third test, in which they lead 2-0, at the Oval.
But back to the Ashes and the Series will take place across Australia in five host cities:
- Brisbane - The Gabba: 25-29 November 2010
- Adelaide - The Adelaide Oval: 3-7 December 2010
- Perth - The WACA: 16-20 December 2010
- Melbourne - The MCG: 26-30 December 2010
- Sydney - The SCG: 3-7 January 2011
